On November 6th, 2007...
The voters of Palm Springs said...
NO!
...to the
extension of the SHADOWROCK
development agreement !
|
Thanks to the efforts of SAVE OUR MOUNTAINS and
other grass-roots mountain-preservation groups, the Shadowrock development is dead in the water. By an overwhelming
majority, the voters of Palm Springs made it clear to the out of state developers pushing the Shadowrock project
that the Chino Cone is NOT for sale.
A big THANK YOU goes to all the
Palm Springs citizens who worked to protect the scenic beauty and sensitivity of this special Palm Springs landmark.
